Watched Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion's movie last week with my boyfriend and loved it. They looked good together and acted so natural. My initial impression was that it wasn't a nice movie but I was wrong. HERE's my review of the movie if you want to know more juicy details.
Anyway, seeing the movie that was mostly shot in Greece was a great cinematic experience. It felt like I was traveling with them vicariously. I love Santorini Island, the specific place where they went. The movie made me daydream of a vacation. Yes, a dream vacation, in one of those beautiful islands in Greece. ![]() If only vacations were not expensive, I would have taken a lot. As in A LOT. And have the time of my life. In places where fun is a normal thing. Where everything is beautiful and efficient and orderly. Where I can relax and eat and have fun all day and all night. But vacations aren't just that. It involves a lot of money. Of which I am lacking. Or let's just put it this way, I have money but it's just enough for myself and my family to live a normal life. How about you, where is your dream vacation? The Life of a Breadwinner has a new post. |

| Chuck September 2, 2008 09:34 PM PDT Hi, Edelweiza. Thanks for commenting on my blog, too. The Greek islands and the beautiful Aegean Sea would indeed be a great place to vacation. But I couldn't go to Greece without visiting Athens and the Acropolis, with its famous Parthenon temple. And I have to say you certainly have an unusual - and beautiful - name. Chuck | ||
